はじめまして、ビオ抹茶ジャパンの長谷川です。
大学生だった1996年の春から茶道を始めて、途中ブランクがありながらも今日に至るまで続けております。これまでは趣味のひとつとして続けてきたお茶を、今後は仕事として事業化したいという想いから、2022年にこのお店とブランドを立ち上げました。
抹茶を仕入れる際に一番気になったのは農薬です。お茶は他の農作物に比べて残留農薬率が高いと聞いております。化学肥料を使わない有機栽培の抹茶はそうではないものと比べて手間暇がかかるため生産できる量が限られ、価格が高くなってしまいます。それでも、せっかく栄養豊富な抹茶を提供するのであれば、安心と安全を担保したいと考え、当店では有機抹茶を取り扱うことにしました。
お子様からご年配の方まで幅広い年代に、弊社の有機抹茶をご愛顧いただけるよう、抹茶自体の普及活動にも力を入れてまいりますので当店をお引き立てくださいますようどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
Nice to meet you, I'm Hasegawa from Bio Matcha Japan.
I began practicing the art of tea ceremony during my university years at the age of twenty, and I continue to pursue it to this day. With the aspiration of turning my long-held passion for tea into a professional endeavor, I have launched this shop and brand.
When sourcing matcha, my foremost concern was pesticides. I've heard that tea tends to have a higher residual pesticide rate compared to other crops. However, organic cultivation of matcha involves lower production volumes compared to conventional methods, and the process is more labor-intensive, which in turn raises the price. Nevertheless, even though we aim to provide the nutrition-rich benefits of matcha, we are committed to ensuring safety and peace of mind. Therefore, our store exclusively offers organic matcha.
We intend to engage in matcha promotion activities to make our matcha accessible and cherished by a wide range of individuals, from children to the elderly.
