オーガニック宇治抹茶のECサイトを運営しているビオ抹茶ジャパンでは、今秋から東京の飯田橋にある「ぼん」茶室で、インバウンド向けの茶道体験を提供いたします。抹茶は近年、海外でも非常に人気がありますが、本格的な抹茶を味わう機会は限られています。そのため、外国人観光客に日本の伝統文化と抹茶を楽しんでいただけるよう企画しました。
まず、茶道の歴史やお点前について簡単に英語で説明します。その後、手を清めてからお茶室に躙り口から入室します。主菓子を召し上がった後、お点前でお薄を一服お出しします。そして、ゲストの皆様に柄杓でお湯を注ぎ、茶筅を振ってお茶を点て、お干菓子と共にお楽しみいただきます。
最後に修了書とお土産として当社オリジナル抹茶をお渡しし、記念撮影を行い、約1時間のプログラムが終了となります。参加費はお一人様6,000円です。
講師は2名で、茶歴20年以上の表千家の講師が指導いたします。

Bio Matcha Japan, the operator of an e-commerce site specializing in organic Uji matcha, is pleased to announce that starting this autumn, we will be offering a traditional Japanese tea ceremony experience for inbound tourists at the "Bon" tea room located in Iidabashi, Tokyo. While matcha has gained popularity overseas in recent years, opportunities to savor authentic matcha are still limited. Therefore, we have designed this experience to allow foreign visitors to enjoy Japan's traditional culture and matcha.
First, we will provide a brief explanation of the history of the tea ceremony and the procedures (temae) in English. After cleansing your hands, you will enter the tea room through the nijiriguchi (crawling-in entrance). Following the consumption of the main sweet (okashi), we will serve a bowl of matcha during the temae. Guests will have the chance to ladle hot water with a hishaku, whisk the matcha with a chasen, and savor it alongside a side sweet (higashi).
To conclude the experience, you will receive a certificate of completion and our original matcha as a souvenir. We will also arrange for a commemorative photo session, marking the end of approximately one hour of the program. The participation fee is 6,000 yen per person.
Our instructors, two in total, have more than 20 years of experience and are certified by the Omotesenke school.
